New Sanctuary Empowerment Center, El Centro, is a grassroots community hub, learning center, and worker community in East Tulsa. Our goal is to empower recently arrived and long-term migrants through education and resources. We provide classes and workshops in civic education, pro-bono legal consultations, a hotline for referrals, and a crisis management fund. These are some of the ways we build community strength and power.
