Data-in-use is becoming a key attack-vector in recent security breaches. When an application is loading data into memory, that data has to be decrypted for the application to process it, and at that point the data is completely vulnerable. One of the major manifestations of that problem is managing the encryption keys that are loaded in memory when encrypting or decrypting data. Anjuna solves this problem by offering a solution that is as secure as HSM but provides the flexibility, scalability and cost of a software solution, allowing organizations to protect their keys throughout the key's lifecycle - both the top tier keys as as as all the derived keys.
